What do people find appealing about flat black? Not knocking it, just wondering.

I'm definitely a big fan of the flat black like that one Evo that was modeled after a rat rod. It was floating around the boards somewhere and it looked ridiculously sick.

Also, I love the color of the "Urban Racer" Evo from Atlantic Motorsports. I can't find any threads with the car, but I did find this link. I'm sure most of you have seen it.
