these were taken Sunday after we did a dirt day on Saturday. The inside of the car is still full of dirt.

Getting her sideways at 70mph is fun as hell though. Got to run her like she was meant to run. Had it up to 120mph topping out 4th gear.

 

My neighbor did an actual Rally event on Sunday and his looked cleaner than mine does.

here are 2 pics of mine. i really wish i would have taken pictures of the engine bay before i cleaned it. everything was covered in dirt. it took me an hour to clean the engine and wheels alone.




oh, and i learned my lesson the hard way to use tape too. 100mph=sandblast. just above my mudflaps in the front, there is about a 2 inch section of bare metal.

 

Damn there are some dirty Evos in here. I don't think I could ever do that to my car unless I had another Evo.

 

the way i figure it, is that the car was made for just this. keeping it clean and on the pavement is like telling a dog it can't lick it's own ***
