A zip tie and some copper wire underneath the chassis, I hit a nasty set of potholes a week or so ago and ended up denting a rim and destroying all of the plastic hooks on my lip, resulting in me having my rims all repaired and powdercoated and this quick solution for the lip. NYC is terrible, I tried to make a claim for this with pictures and all and they still told me there would be no guarantee for reimbursement. I'm going to get a Carbon Fiber SE replacement for the lip, waiting to recover a bit from the cost of the powdercoating and repair job first.

what trunk lid do you have? Seibon? Did you have to make a lot of adjustments to make it fit properly? If so what were they? Any tricks?

 

It is the Seibon lid, to be honest, it fits like crap. Just can't really tell by the pictures.

 

I've seen one seibon trunk lid of all of the ones I've seen that has truly fit well. I'm sure with A LOT of adjustment they can be made to fit well.
