wheel specs and fender work?

 

Just installed the spoolinup non-cdi cop setup...WOW, night/day difference! some new pics as well

what big differences did you notice with the spoolinup kit.

Startup is much stronger, idle is a lot more stable, revs quicker/smoother. That's just from standing still.

When driving, the car accelerates much smoother, the decel isn't as harsh (the way the car jerks when you let off throttle at higher rpm's), the transition from no throttle to throttle is also extremely smooth.

It also allowed me to open up my spark plug gap to .024 (was .018), and at 30ish psi I'm not getting even the slightest hint of misfire, the pull is very linear/smooth. At WOT, it definitely feels like I may have gained a few ponies even, but that could all be in my head .

Overall, I feel like it's a great investment for the $$, I am very pleased with it thus far.

 

 

Man I need to paint my headlight housing so bad!! Did you just fallow the how to?

 

I've been painting headlights for years now, I've done it on all my cars I've owned. You just bake them apart, scuff em up a bit, paint, reseal. Easy peezy!
