You guys have made an excellent name for yourselves and it's only getting better. Insane creation!!!

Chad, I've been reading along and I still wasn't sure if you were going to tell us what's going to become of the exhaust? I saw a little exhaust tip on the back-end shot you put up. Is that the final style and or setup? What size you going to run?

Just a few minor questions for ya! gl CBRD to you and all your sponsors!

thanks!!

we are working hard to bring our ideals from our racing background to the evo market...

we are running a 3" exhaust... WG's dumped back in... one race muffler and a resonator... originally we were going for BIG power... but we had to remind ourselves its the big package, not just a sledgehammer thats going to win...

we are putting about 2-3 days straight in on the the car this weekend, hoping to finish everyhing up but paintwork... pics coming

I tried this about 5 years ago. I made two IC's, both identical except for one having the rounded inlets and outlets on the core. I had it tested by an large heat exchanger manufacturer as they were interested in the results as well. Tests were done in one of their cells where they measure efficiency and pressure drop at different flow rates, pretty bad *** setup.
I'm not sure why I'm sharing this but here it goes.....it was a waste of time. Pressure drop improved by 2-4% and that's it... So If you have 2psi of pressure drop you'll gain 0.06 to .08 psi. In other words a .06 to .08 psi gain might equate to 1-2 hp maybe.. If you have more than 2psi of pressure drop your core is undersized anyways, so in the end a core with one more row will do more for improving pressure drop than the 'aero' work inside the core.

I was pretty disappointed as well when I tested this, I was hoping for a breakthrough

I ran the core and could not measure any significant power changes at all.

You're sharing it because you rock. Guys like you, Chad, Dave Buschur, 9sec9, IndyEvo and others are here for the communal good.

Some guys try to help, other guys can't help, but appreciate the others. The rest are douchebags.

Well Martin, thats why you guys make the big bucks

Good to know/hear, I knew it had to help, just a shame it was so minimal It seems to me that would be one of the most turbulent areas within the endtank, but maybe the air sorts itself out very quickly, might have something to do wiht the air that doesnt make it in the core acts as a high pressure buffer between the inlets or something.

Interesting to hear, and thanks for sharing!

Thats one more thing crossed off the list of things that can be done to make a competitors drag car as fast as yours Martin
