Where is a good place to get a CF lip for my '03 Evo 8? I've heard horror stories about the cheap ebay ones, so I don't want to have to go through that, but I also can't really justify spending an enormous amount of money for one of the top name brands. If anyone knows of some good places to go through with good prices, please post them up. I just want to dress up the front end a tad.

I think i am just gonna get the doluck replica until i get a front bumper or something else.

 

Ive heard good things about the ebay? Some say they dont work but do a search and you'll probably find some more good info. Personally, I plan to buy a CF lip and plan to paint it to match my car so I dont care what brand I go with.

I've been running an ebay doluck replica for a year now. The quality is top notch and people keep asking me if it's a doluck lip. I'm not going to spend $400-600 and a piece of cf that that can easily get scraped or ripped off.

 

JDP Engineering is an awesome place to start......great prices and CF quality/fittment is excellent.....

 

If one of the ebay one's fit well then I'd go with it, but after reading through the different vendor's personal feedback on ebay I saw a pattern...everyone that bought a CF lip for an Evo said it didn't fit like they said it did.
If the DoLuck knockoff fits good, then I wouldn't mind putting it on the car. Does anyone have any links and pictures for that style lip?

 

I run the Varis replica lip from ebay, great fitment and quality finish for the price...all you need to do is buy the mounting screws for like 10 bux at the auto store...i'll post pics if u want

 

I bought a used Varis look a like CF lip from a member here. The quality is pretty good, but the only bad thing is the fitment. The lip was about 1/4 smaller then the bumper so I really had to squeeze the it in. Wouldn't been able to do without my brothers help. But none of the less, it look great. I'll give it 8/10.

 

Please do, I'd like to see how well it fits. I'm currently looking at one of the Varis replicas right now.
