My vote is for the Advans I love the look of the RG-II so much <3

Based on your signature, you've been building your car the right way so far... no point in going with knock offs now!

Id go for the Volks, ONLY if you went with an aggressive offset, like 9.5 +22. I also like the wheel posted earlier by another user, Gram Lights Optimise, those wheels are super sick, and pretty uncommon.

By your sig you obviously have the cash to get the Volks or Advans. The TE37 might be my favorite wheel of all time but the only way to get the looks on EVOs is to run a +22 offset and camber them in more than I'd like on my DD. I personally plan to buy some RGIIs here soon. I also have silver and plan to do this:

good luck with the wheel search. i can never make up my mind. this year i purchased three different sets of wheels. i may even buy another set next year. my problem is there are so few that look good on the evo, but the ones that do i want them all. right now i am running advan rs in the gold color. i wanted the gun metallic but it was going to be a long wait at the time and i got a good deal on these. once i put them on the car i was happy with the outcome. but i really like the re30's and ce28 volks in an aggressive offset. i just don't want rubbing like i had with the work emotions. also just a side note i think you can get the optimise wheels in a blueish finish that you don't see that often. might be cool.

what does camber them in mean??? sorry I'm kinda new to some of the terms. I've always been working on getting more power and just now getting into looks. have looked at wheels for a while just dont know everything yet. I know what offset is but not camber

When the wheels are too wide for the fenders, and along with fender rolling/shaving, you can add neg camber to make the wheels fit better.

Heres an example of what I mean, this is before camber, see how the front wouldn't clear the fenders?

go volk and don't look back. i had a set of volk SE37K's on my honda accord and LOVED THEM. i put those wheels through hell on the street and the track. not a scratch on any of them. no worries about cracking, chipping, fading... they are strong and light. mine were 17x7.5 and weighed in at 14.2lbs each. i'm going with RE30's on the EVO (seems like the right thing to do since the RE30's replaced the SE37K's).

the advans are nice, but none of them seem to fit without some modification...they are expensive for cast wheels, and not as strong or as light as volks.

rotas just suck. cheap, weak, heavy knockoffs. and those wheels just look bad.

It's true that to get the +29 offset with the Advans you need to roll or shave the rear fenders if you want to run a 255 or wider tire. They are expensive and they are cast but there are many different types of casting processes. Those polished RGIIs I posted up there look so pretty and weigh in at only 18lbs in 18x9. Is there lighter? Sure. There always is. But that is still damn good for a 18x9 wheel IMO.
