Posted this in Evo general but decided to post it here too, hopin for some cool winter pic responses.

Well, it snowed for the first time here. It was more of a freezing rain so everything got iced. I have a few pics of my Evo, which got COMPLETLY frosted on all sides. Just look at the pics to see what I mean. They are pretty crappy because I took them at night and dont have much photographic talent, but they'll suffice.







^^^Yes those are a bunch of icicles hanging over my frozen tire. By now they have gotten much longer and have basically fused with the tire.





I can't wait to drive that thing like the rally car it is meant to be. Just waitin on my winter tires to come in. Right now I have super soft Advans, which wont even move the car out of the driveway. Wasnt expecting this storm all of a sudden. The frostiness looks pretty cool though, and the turbo is LOVING the cold weather.

Anyone else getting snow yet? Where do you guys live, and what do you drive when the weather gets crappy? Post your winter pics/pics of whatever you drive. I know some of you baby the Evo and woudn't wanna get any snow/salt on it.

Quick Q: I am debating between the Blizzack LM25's or Dunlop Winter Sport 3Ds. They both have excellent reviews at tirerack, but id like some personal input from you guys. Thanks.

Pics no worky. Got snow today also live in WA. It was pretty nice, some awd donuts. I got a video n some crappy pics. Oh and i'm using kuhmo asx's and they are fine for where i live.

Nice. When my car was like that last winter i had to lightly punch around the door frame to crack the ice to get in.

got the first good snow fall in Jersey today, sucked because i had work and it stopped snowing before i got out, but i just went to a road that i know would not be plowed, since it is gravel and did a little rallyin. Bringing it back to its roots! lol.


Just took a couple of pics of my car on the road i was on. couldnt have any action shots seeing that it was just me and my evo.

 

I see you still have your Advans on. I really hope you don't plan on driving your car AT ALL with those tires.

 

Ok so im from florida, so i dont know anything about snow haha, how does that ice and snow get off the car, is it bad for the paint to be just sitting on there and rusting away?

 

yea we just got snow an sleet last night an it sux cuz ive still got my falken azenis on lol... cant drive anywhere in that
