does anyone know where/who/when there will be an ' A Pillar ' gauge pod (preferably 2) that will be available for the EVO lancer?

Road/Race were the first to get one out. It's carbon fiber and only sold in pairs.

 

sold in pairs...? who the hell wants a pillar pod on the passenger side...?

 

Tried that one, don't recommend it. Doesn't fit.

 

I know RMR had a pod for the steering column, but it's only good for one guage. the cost is $99, I think.

 

hey fireball when did you test fit that? they just came out with it. and the pasenger side doesnt have any gauges it is just plain CF

 

oh, so anyone else test fit these things...?

how's the weave of the CF... gotta be tight... otherwise it looks like ****...

 

I saw them at RRM wednesday night and the weave was super TIGHT!!!!!!! they looked awsome. For my use I tested them on my lancer and fit great. They have been tested on an evo and it fits perfect.

they look nice... so i would want a boost gauge, but what other gauge would i want...?

 

Oh, I have not tried the full pillar yet, but that's mainly because I don't want to spend $259 for pillar replacements.

I have tried the smaller 2 pod and it doesn't really fit.

 

Now, here's the real question. Are they replacement pillars, or just go overtop of the existing pillar?

 

They just go over the existing pillars. If you look at the pics on the site you can see the gray through the pillars at the bottom.
