The intercooler has taken a beating. The headlight ducts are nice and clean looking, who make those?

Is that the stock brembo calipers in the 1st pic? I know that Garage Totori uses the stock brembo calipers.

Makes me wonder why some Evo owner complain that the brake sucks.

They were a custom 1-off peice made exclusively for the Cyber Evo. Since there is no direct company in Japan selling either the replicas, or even the authentic version of these headlights, I recommend you speak with EvoDave or Cal from Speed Element for options as to where you can buy something similar.

There are other stock parts on the car beside that, the strut tower bar for example and the stock brake calipers (slightly modified to accomodate stronger mounting hardware and eliminate potential vibration). Altough the most amazing evo ever built IMO it was kept very simple in the built process.

The original design of the car called for it to be in a completely different racing catagory. Since then it has made a huge name for itself, and they have been trying to build it up more and more with each new broken record. If you look at the changes they have made over the last few years you will notice its mostly aerodynamic. The car itself, like you mentioned, is (mechanically) fairly simple.

They are rebuilt. If you did some research you would know that.
