Rota Boost 18x9 owners, please chime in!!
I recently had some Rota Boost 18x9's installed and was wondering if other Boost 18x9 owners were having rear fenders rolled or not??
I know i need to have my rears done, as they are make some crazy noises!!! But what I don't understand is why my passenger side rear makes more noises then my drivers side rear?
Is this normal with the Rota Boosts in 18x9?
They look simply amazing btw!! I'll post pics here in a day or two.
Thanks

I had crazy rubbing with 245/40/18's in the rear so I had them rolled last night. Haven't had any issues yet *knocks on wood*
I'm also on Swift Springs if that makes a diff and have light system in the trunk

Superrr revival of old thread!
I just recently bought a set of rota boost 18x9 +30
Looking at tires and really dunno what to get.
I don't wanna roll my guards for SURE.
I am with teins monoflex, but height I dont mind having it a bit higher if its gonna stop the rubbing (as long as it doesn't look like a 4wd!)
So my question is:
245/40/18 or 255/35/18?
Which one has a lower chance of rubbing?
From looking though the site, it seems like the 255/35/18 has less people complaining about rubbing.
I understand it depends alot on the tires itself...
I'm not after some super high quality tires, so they wont have fat sidewalls like some really high performance ones.
I know i'm safe with 235/40/18, but I want it a bit wider than that if possible!
The tires I'm looking at so far:
kumho ku31
maxxis maz1
(hope someone has used those before and can tell me if they're good or not for fitment issues!)
Thanks to anyone that can help
