Freshly de-winged TB evo
I just like the different look I get after having this car for 3+ years(or has it been 4...) Plus it's sexy like this too. The wing is sitting in my living room at the moment, looking all classy.
the wing does look good. i actually think it makes the car what it is.... but i dewinged mine cause at the same time i think its obnoxious and does attract a lot of attention.
I lifted the trunk, took off the bolts/nuts, had a friend heat the bottom of each side with the hairdryer(from inside the trunk and from the side of the wing) while I pulled up on the wing itself (actually towards the front of the car, you know what I mean) and we just slowly ripped it up a bit, then sawed away with floss...lol
Then the fun started with heating the left over tape to pull it up and using goo gone. Took maybe an hour or so.
Thanks everyone again, I can't get enough of the new look. Now with some wheels (and a drop if I get the money) and more debadging I should be set for a while on looks.
I was liking wingless for a while but after 2 months I was dying to get my VIII wing in so I could put it on.
IX with the VIII wing is awesome. You'll be back, mark my words. lol
It does lot a good bit better when dropped. When I sold my IX wing I was on the stock suspension and honestly it looked kind of odd. Put the Megan coilovers on there and it looked much better wingless.
