my hood came with hoodpins and the install was a *****
had to do some tweaking
but it looks great now. just try to reallign it and make sure the nuts are evenly tightened

well everything seems to be in the right place because the latch was rubbing on the under hood and i alinged it all the way forward and it still rubbed so i filed it down nice and smooth and it no longer grinds...also it looks perfectly aligned on each side but when i go to close it, it takes alot of force to get it to latch completely

mine isn't that hard to close. just be careful with it. close it gently and it will latch, then just put your palm on the front of the hood and give it a little push to close it all the way. it's amazing what people post about on here. is it really THAT hard to figure these things out? why not just go outside and spend the 2seconds it'll take to figure it out.

It might not be that easy.

I have a Deft Racing CF hood and I have to slam it sofaking hard to latch it. It's not on the car now but I suppose I could try pulling it forward as far as I can when tightening the bolts next time.

I think the latch part on the hood might be too short on my hood and it could be the same for your hood. I'm not putting the hood back on until I have my Aerocatch hoodpins installed. Well except maybe for the drive over to the shop lol.

someone needs to c0ckslap the **** outa you....do you wanna come over and see just how difficult it really is...i spent 2 hours trying to re align it and no matter wat i do it still takes a ton of force to get it to latch...beyond normal
