Im thinking of getting some rpf1s...but i want them in a black color...how much do you think it would cost to get them powder coated a shiny/chrome black?

 

i paid like 150/each to powder coat to flat black (i know it's little overprice but my insurance paid it for )

 

I paid 50 bucks a rim to have my stock enkei rims stripped and powdercoated. Just make sure that they do it in low temperature powdercoating though since they're aluminum rims.

 

so what kind of place can you go to get this done...can any body shop do it

 

you should be paying around 50-70 bucks a wheel.

That is one nice lookin' car. The Ralliart lip looks way better than the SE lip, especially so on a black EVO. Where did you you get powder coating done?

 

what part of illinois are you from? i have these guys set up to powdercoat a set of my wheels: http://www.cmwerks.com/html/home.html

they have experience with powdercoating forged wheels at the lower required temps also.

i contacted cmwerks and they quoted me 85 a wheel. thats for gloss black. they also have chrome black and tons of other colors. i am planning on taking a trip over to their facility soon to check out their work.
