SIC clear coat one bro.......i would went and bought the clear coat piece IMO though

 

I've done this to my car also, but I painted all the dash trim pieces, including my pillar pieces. All flat black, it took a while too. I will post pics.

 

hope you do a better job on the heads and tails...

 

i painted everything... the ACD surround, the top long piece, the shifter console and the gauge panel. Looks much classier i think

 

+1. Take off the parts you would like to get painted. Then go to your local paint shop. Have them paint the pieces the color you want. Its worth the extra money. I had this done when I had an SRT-4. I didnt go overkill mode though. I just had a few pieces painted. You have to find the right balance or it will be rice.

bigric, what paints and clear coats did you use?

 

i went to walmart and bought some house of kolor paint stuff they had there... i used 7 cans total...

1 can sandable primer
2 cans white base
2 cans midnight pearl black
2 cans clear
