sori for the late reply, btw those evo X rims are from my fren evo X as he had trade it in for a 18" white Advan RG2 & i got it borrow from the rim shop as that time my new rims (Advan RS dark grey metallic 17" x 8.5" offset 31) haven't arrived, was using bridgestone tyres 225 x 18 x 45 on the Evo X rims when i got it borrowed from the shop

The evo X rims are from ENKEI, 18" x 8.5" offset 38,weight i guess is 9+kg per rim

Btw thks for all your comments,i personally like the Evo X rims too but didnt buy it from my fren as he had already trade it in to the shop & the other issue is i dont like the offset

Not really... 9kg = 19.841 lbs

My Volks are 18 x 8.5 +30 and they weigh 16 lbs each... 3 pounds per tire X 4 is 12 extra pounds

But of course the rims haven't gone on any scale, so who's to know how much they really weigh

Your volks aren't OEM. You are comparing apples to oranges. The IX oem 17" enkeis are about 19lbs so I would say that is a pretty good weight for OEM 18" wheels.

I don't think that's apples to oranges, all I was comparing was a 18" wheel vs another 18" wheel, nothing else. Mitsu could have gone with any rim they wanted so whether they choose Enkei's or some other brand, that was totally up to them.
