But knock off's look pretty good sometimes and can last. So its up to you if you want to tell people where you got it and for how much.
You'd have to be nutsy-cookoo to buy "knock-off" safety equipment.

I was just about to chime in to say this!!! You beat me to it! There are just some things I wouldn't gamble with like seats, harnesses, harness bars, and also wheels.

I think SuperGT is a pretty reputable shop in Hong Kong. I went there with my friend to get and install coilovers for his mazda 3 a year ago. Product and service were good. But as I said, they are not that well stocked in the retail location as they pull stuff you need from the warehouse nearby, so I didn't have a chance to see a lot of goods that they sell. However, they do have a lot of ads in at least 3 local tuning magazines so from what I could tell I don't think they are selling knock offs.

p.s. why don't you email them or give them a call and ask for a serial number or any other proof that you can double check with Bride?

good idea, I may just do that. I am not in the market at this exact moment but maybe by late spring for HPDE's.
