Hello everyone and happy New Year,
Radiators.... The evolution stock radiator is a nice piece, aluminum construction with plastic end tanks, it does the job well for street use and light track duty, but I have had my share of issues with the stock radiator, Last year, I had one of the end tanks come "loose" because of the tab construction that holds the upper end tank on. So I did what any normal person would do... Simply go out and buy an aluminum aftermarker radiator.
I purchased a Koyo and let me tell you this thing is beefy... but it did not fit because of my custom turbo set up . So I had to sell it and put another stock radiator into the car.
In comes the CBRD speedfactory radiator and what a marvelous piece it is.
Offers improved cooling, weighs 9 Ibs with a slim line fan, offers 3/8" more clearance than stock...and the best part of this piece is that it has a relocated neck and filler to move the upper hose away from those tubular headers...Seemed like a no brainer for me , especially when the price was a competitive 475 bucks shipped.
on to the pics they are pretty self explanatory ... Enjoy
the stock radiator and fan

nicely packaged

personalized touches

showing the relocated neck

I have noticed a 10 degree drop in temp so far but I will have more empirical data once summer rolls around
have a good one
