Question Evo VII rear bumper Retro Fit?

Does the EvoVII (JDM) rear bumper retro fit to the XI? Is there anyone who can confirm this? Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated as I'm looking to see if there are any fitting/matching issues. Sorry if this is in the wrong section it just seems like an appropriate place to ask it.

yes it fits. you just need to remove the factory USDM rear bumper beam.

Same installation procedure (in our how-to section) as the JDM EVO IX rear bumper

good luck!

I may be mistaken, but isn't that beam suppose to protect you if you get rear-ended? I wanna do the IX rear bumper but this actually kinda freaked me out when I found out. Crazy drivers out there... lol

There are some threads on how to modify your rear crash beam to work with the JDM IX rear bumper.

The VII bumper fits both the VIII and the IX but just like the JDM IX bumper, the crash beam needs to be modified or removed. The VII bumper looks awesome in person. If I had an VIII, I would definitely sport one.

Ok, just checked it out....rear bumper beam not included, they do show a rear bumper beam in their illustration for the hardware kit so I would guess that someone could order one...maybe mitsu dealer?
