Advan RS 18 x 9 + 29 in CHROME!
well just rember these wheels weigh 3lb ligher than stock VIIIs and like 2.5 lbs lighter than the IX wheels. So you get the nice look of chrome with the advantage we all love from Advan.
But I agree. Some better pics would REALLY be appreciated by me as I am planning to run some SBC RGIIs here very soon.
EXACTLY!!! Everyone and their friend has the gunmetal RS on apex silver. It looks good but is way played out.
Bump for more pics!

This is 100% true and anybody who has seen SBC Advans in person will know this. Fortunetly for me I see them all the time at the AMS (DC) BBQs and know these things look more gloss black than chrome in real life.
One of the main thing I was looking for was light weight/chrome. I was looking into some other MAYAS that might have looked a lil better, but were 23 lbs. My set are actually CHROME. They also sell them in SBC. somethin "Black Chrome". The sbc looks realy nice as well. In the sun they look chrome, in the shade/night they look black! Off the hook for those who are against chrome, but like the shine.
And for the pics... sorry guys, unfortuneately FED EX decided to deliver my center caps somewhere, IDK. MF'rs! I would have taken some pics, but I am waiting on those to complete the deal. and now its raining...

Are you sure? If Advan makes chrome and SBC then this is news to me and I am sure several others. On Advans Japanese site and even on Mackin's site they only ever listed these wheels and all Advans as "super bright chrome" and "bright chrome" but those were just the names given to the black chrome from my understanding. I have never seen, heard about, read about, any Advans that were not black chrome no matter what they were called.
Well considering I have seen pics of the SBC, which is black chrome, (think I saw them on one of the forums) and I have CHROME. There is no black involved. SBC and CHROME are both special order options. Advan was one of the only to produce a lightweight / CHROME rim, which was the reason I went w/ Advan.
as soon as the rain stops/ and I can get my car washed. I will!
matter of fact let me check the weather...wanna get her washed today, but not sure if its gonna start raining again...
and for those lookin for center caps... Talk to Calvin @ speed element! I am still waiting on mine, but thats due to Fed Ex... I am waiting on a set that looks to be aluminum looking (somewhat shiny) w/ the advan racing logo on them.
