What makes my car ricey? The headlights aren't the same color everyone else is painting theirs? They are color matched to the RR. Everything else is color matched (except for the wheels...that will change). I guess just because I didn't follow the flock with excessive carbon fiber, and the typical black and red theme my car is a POS.

The grey on the hood is vinyl. The headlights I have already commented on. The wheels....are BBS MR wheels with a red lip. I was testing that out with vinyl tape. That has since been gone.

I want to see everyone who posted negative comments cars. I'd bet 9 out of 10 look like 10 other cars here on EvoM or look stock.

 

It's kind of obvious that you can't block aholes on the internet so why state the obvious? You're car is "ricey" for several reasons. Firstly, the time attack themed MR wheels are just a play at the time attack series of wheels that rays engineering started. Secondly, you have a "the spirit of competition" ralliart sticker on your hood that you bought from ebay. Thirdly, you have grey vinyl on your hood. Grey vinyl, dude. Lastly, the headlight paint scheme is for sub 15k compact cars like cavaliers and civics.

I dont post pics to feel the need to be showered with gracing comments to validate why I bought an Evo. I only have Tein Flex coilovers and an Espelir cat-back exhaust on my 9. Who the hell wants to see another near stock looking Evo?

 

Why does it say not to use this with a tubular manifold? Clearance or heat?

 

this hood vent looks good in carbon fiber on evos with black headlights, and either an oem or all cf hood. Chargespeed made the original. It's one of those mods that's only as good as the car that it's on. So if the car looks retarded, the hood vent will look out of place.

Can you read.....time attack wheels? Red lip is gone. Headlight paint belongs on a cheaper car? Tell Ferrari and Chevrolet that they can no longer color match the headlights to the color of the car because it is cheap. The Spirit of Competition vinyl on the hood I had made at a vinyl shop....gunmetal to match. Not an Ebay buy. Although I do have an Ebay intercooler....wanna rip me on that? Works very well, if you want to know.

i have seen his car in person. and it is definatly not ricey. he has done a lot of original stuff. although it is not necessarily my cup of tea. it still looks good.
