JDM IX bumper

Thanks to the great guys over at drivelinesales.com! Not only did I get a great deal on a IX rear bumper, it arrived much quicker than I thought.

The installation went very smoothly and took about 3 hours. Next one could be done in about 2 hours. I still have to get the tip sorted but I am not sure what I am going to do. Either replace the tip with a short piece of 3" stainless or have the original Magnaflow tip sectioned. I'll see what the exhaust shop thinks.

Big thanks goes out to my good friend Micheal (mitsu master tech).

Pics!

Did I mention the new bumper matches my paint better than the original?

That's not a bumper bar. It's the bumper support piece. You need to take it off your 8 and rivet it on to a IX...
IX bumpers cannot run a crash beam....

Yeah it sets it off on a yellow car. I went to the 'Ring in July of last year. Best thing I have ever done... ever.

I believe Drivelinesales offers them in any factory color. Have a look at their website but make sure to PM them so you get the EvoM price.

That is true of only colors that were available in the IX. So bby is not available.

And I must say I really like the crash bar mod. I just used some square tubing but wish I wouldve reworked the stock beam. Maybe that will give me something to do this summer....
