the cyber evo cage is bare minimum for a pro driver only. Extra saftey is never a bad thing when starting out or even being pro.

Be sure to check the latest changes with NASA with their cage specs... The material and sizes have changed for cars above 3000lbs. Anything above the 3k lbs mark has to be made with chromoly!!! If you don't have a NASA book from last year you will not be grandfathered in!

It's a monkey wrench in everyone's side.
I do not have any more pix
But I def dont have an X on the overhead part...there is a diagonal bar that you can see in one of the pics I posted.

You need X bars over head.

Does the diagonal bar go from the main hoop to the rear area? ie a strut tower or do you just have straight bars going back? From what it looks like you only have straight bars going back.

dude... you may have to scrap that whole cage if you weigh in more than 3000lbs if you want to compete in NASA TT. Or do their HPDE's!

That's going to suck

Its bars going back near the strut tower that are boxed in
The car weighs in @ 3060 wet
So I am pretty sure I can get the car under 3000lbs with a bit of creativity

Very nice!!!

Are you planning to go wide body with this car when you start to get more comfortable with it?

If you don't mind can you please post some more pics of the Evo?? =]
