Carbon Fiber Front Air Dam/Lip

Does anyone know what is involved in replacing the stock front air dam with a carbon fiber piece (along the lines of something from APR or the like)? I have an '06 SE and the stock lip has to go. It hangs lower than a stock air dam and more impotantly it has fake air intakes on the sides...

Remove the factory undertray, remove the screws that hold the factory lip on to the bumper and replace with the lip of your choice. Re-install the screws that hold the lip to the bumper and re-install factory undertray. The most time consuming part will be removal of the factory undertray.

Thanks for the response. Do you mean that a new lip will not allow the reinstallation of the stock undertray?

On any non SE IX that I've seen (I've installed both the Ralliart and APR lips) the factory undertray can be re-installed with the aftermarket lip. The IX SE may differ, maybe someone else can chime in but I don't think it'll be an issue.

You may have to drill the holes in the lip for the tray depending on which brand you go with.

The SE just has a different lip but the same mount as a standard IX, which is significantly different than an VIII. I have a lift so it sounds like a resonably easy job.
