Not really.

The way any piece is made has a great effect on it strength and fatigue properties. I have seen forged wheels take some beatings that a cast wheel could not. Potholes are nothing for my Prodrive GC-06's I think the only way I could bend these things is hitting a a curb dead on at 30+ mph

Also there are different ways to cast wheels as well. Your statement implies that these processes are for nothing.

Alot of people hate rota but these are my reasons why I don't run them.

They do not make their own designs and I choose to not support knock off items cause if people don't buy the real thing then rota will not have anything to knock off.

They do not say that they heat treat or do any type treatments to improve the strength properties of the metal they are using. If they did do more treatments like this I am sure they would not be as cheap as they are but would not have the problems they have had.

People can buy the wheels they want but they should think about things like this about all the products they buy not just car parts.

shut it.

search my name and you will see a bent Volk wheel from just daily driving on the wheels for a few months. Had Rotas on for years and never bent/cracked one. Then again I don't slam my wheels into curbs so maybe thats why I haven't broke one like the other morons out there.

You bent a wheel by just driving on it?

The hood is Seibon TSWII. thanks for all the great comments about the wheels. After having them on for a week i love them even more. The only thing i dont like about my car is the stance. I have hotckis springs but with the billsteins and im guessing thats why my car sits higher. Friend of mine has hotckis on his 05 non mr and it sits about 2 inches lower in the rear and it would looks perfect if that was how mine sat. But i guess that means coilovers are next
