I'm not crazy about the stripes - I'm mostly a domestic guy at heart and seeing stripes on imports is kinda weird to me - but the rest of the car is just amazing. I love the overall theme of it.

So basically you get all the performance enhancemens from the MR plus the lightness of the RS. They are extremely rare, I only know of about 4 8MRRS
's in the UK.

lol, i know what MR means..... i was referring to when you buy an MR here in the states, its the dazzled up version...the fully optioned flagship model.... and the RS is the total opposite...

here are the options the MR has that the RS doesnt in the states

6speed tranny, HID's, foglights, wing, vortex generator, ABS, bilstien struts, power everything (door locks, mirrors, windows), added interior pieces (carbon ebrake handle, front dome lights, arm rest), fully carpeted trunk, full stereo system

so as you can see, thats why i was boggled when you said an MR RS...im gonna have to go research this model

Btw, very clean looking evo.
there are 2 version of the EVo 8 MR RS.. one version uses 5 speed tranny, and the other uses 6 speed tranny.. the 5 speed vesion is a step up from the Evo 7 RS .

Sorry Buddy, I should have realised that you would have known what MR stands for!!

Its a 6speed gearbox.

Been in contact with your man David Buscher for a 3065 with tubular maniford, 880's and a delux IC to go with the forged engine 272', Magnex and APS. Can't wait to finnish of the power upgrades! Already done brakes and handling!

And thanks again for all the cool comments on the car guys

Everywhere else the Evo8 MR is a separate model (evo8.5) with different trim levels, GSR & RS.

While in the US you guys treat the MR as a trim level, the GSR trim is like your US MR, while your RS is like an optioned out japanese RS, i'm not sure if your evo8 RS got the aluminium roof but the MR RS did.
