Whats the story behind this picture?

I saw this randomly browsing the intraweb (it was on a mustang forum "pics that make you lol" thread). What is this? It looks like maybe a blower from some supercharger + turbo maybe? I know this has been done in the STI w/ the AMG supercharger off of an SLK.

Anybody have info pertaining to this picture?

yea this guy made a lot of power but the engine was rebuilt several times as well. Creative is an understatement.

very complex and expensive system, but if engineered right and someone could tune it, it actually works very well

I guess....If pushing boundaries and trying new ideas is pointless

Exactly what have you engineered , tried first ?

Plus, he did finish his project.

Haha, amazing how many people have seen that thread on SVTP. I check it every day, the stuff in there is classic!

Speaking of twin-charged... any of you Evo guys seen this Hellion kit for the 03/04 cobra??

I'm sure if it was done right and tuned correctly that thing would be an animal.
