Why don't ya lower it or is it mainly for looks? In other words, do ya use it for what it was made for?

That Evo makes the GT-R look weak. Hahah Voltex is intense.

it sucks when this happen infront of a cop car! heck... even losing the $2000+ wing on a highway sucks too!

The gurney flap is like $300. It makes a small difference in downforce. Whether that small difference is worth it to you... is up to you.
What happened to the Cyber Evo was that the wing ripped off the entire top of their CF trunk. I think they are now trying to mount it more securely from inside the trunk.

ya, mounting a wing to the trunk on a time attack car is not a good idea, mounting it to the frame through the trunk is the way to go.

the $300 is well worth it for the looks alone!!
but i am not getting the wing with gurney flap for an evo, its for an nsx, the mounting is different, so i am kinda worry about the wing shaking when i am on a long highway trip, i am sure it will be fine if it shakes around for a few second down the back straight, but i am talking about an hour of shaking when driving down to the track, maybe its a difference story!
i really want to get the type 5 with gurney, but no one can tell me if they will hold up even the vendors that sells these....

Yeah I have no clue about the Voltex stuff on NSX. I used to own one and getting JDM parts for it was quite difficult! Even getting information was hard!

If its anything like the Marga Hills wing for the NSX you'll have no issues, the attachments are very solid. The short length gives it rigidity too.
