I was recently told that not all evo's have factory fogs and factory HID's in the headlights. can anyone post a picture of headlights on an Evo without factory fogs.

I thought fogs were on all evo's.

yea i think it was the 05 and up...rs models dosen't have HID....idk, dont remember what i read...unfortuntely i dont have any pics

 

here u go, my lights were painted black but u can still see it. Where the fog goes it is sealed off

rs no hids or fogs, gsr base model either.

only MR's and SSL packaged evos come with HID's and foglights. No pics, just a bit of information for ya

Hmm, well I just learned something new today. I have an '04 base model gsr and i've got factory HIDs and fogs. It must have been '05 and up, like sharkm87 said.

 

but if there isnt hid and fogs, but is there still the bulb housing? like i can put fog bulbs in and an hid kit in?

 

yup 05 came w the acd option but no hids on reg gsr or rs models

The spot where the fog goes is sealed off, look at the pic i posted. It is just a plastic cover u would have to cut it and somehow put custom fogs.

 

damn! i wanted fogs. but my question now is ... if i get an hid kit for it say 6000 or 8000k with the projector lens "look" the same as teh factory hid ones. since the projector lens arent hid lenes

 

oh and what hid kits are u guys running? i would plan to get a decent one and not a knock off ebay one

 

u can't really adjust it like u can w oem hids but here is how mines look





the flash got the best of the last pic, thats why one side looks wack. I got the Kaixen 6500 kit which is a white with a light tint of blue.

 

my friend actually got a kit from ebay for like 130 and it worked really good for him and a few people run them, i will find out which kit it is.

Check out VVME.com for cheap hid's. I have them on my dc5 in the headlights and teh fogs. 6000k in both.

Get them off their ebay store for even cheaper... $77 shipped. Username is flashplus.
