i jsut finished painting my tails and boy am i happy!!! I personally think they look very close to the JDM 7's and i think i jsut saved myself nearly 300 bucks heh :P

yes i did. i didnt want to risk destroying the lens by taking them apart and stuff so i did it on the outside

 

the paint job looks good, but USDM IX tails would match your car better

yup yup. painters tape and a razorblade. Took a while but damn worth the time to make them look good Took about an hour to mask off the parts i didnt want to be taped. the painting process didnt take longer than an hour either.

 

Wow that's a VERY close match. Well done. There is no subsitute for the real thing though .

 

haha i know. Real ones would be great but I just dont have the money to spend for authentic ones heh
