Yea they look a lot more different than stock! It's because I'm too close to the car and it's not dark enough outside.

Ok... here's the deal. I bought both the super whites and the Ions. The Ions are NOT that yellow. For comparison's sake, I would say the Lexus GS430 is very yellow and very bright. These are not. They're much more subtle, but still look nice. They're yellow enough so you can tell they're not cheap regular halogen bulbs but not yellow enough to look like they're OEM. I personally don't think they contrast xenon HIDs as much as they should to look good (ie like the GS430 does). So I put in the superwhites... and those look great! Match 6000K HID's perfectly (eventhough the bulbs have a color temp of 5000K).

ok, what someone needs to do is to take a picture of the car with one stock bulb in on one side and one of these new bulbs in the other side so we can see a direct comparison. That would be super . please!

I wonder if you could use a gel from a stage light and wrap the OEM bulb... it'd be a tricky cut to make it fit right, and how would you secure it?

There are two different kinds of yellow. Ion and simply 'yellow'. However, everyone claims ION in the name so watch out.

The imposter 'ion' from SPP, ebay etc. which will not produce much yellow at all because they are flash coated regular old bulbs and not true ION type like the ones in that pic below - that is some bright stuff. All the companies selling no name bulbs or bulbs under their own name are more than likely selling Chinese made stuff and you want the Japanese quality bulbs, the difference is HUGE in performance and longevity.

So has anyone found totally yellow fog light bulbs (GS430, IS300 type yellow)? Here in NJ, we get bad fog sometimes. A yellow like the Lexus might help. The stock bulbs don't really do anything.

Z1 is right.. We'll never get the Lexus color because the lens on their fog lights are yellow.
