So.. got the car tuned yesterday!!

Went to ReeseTuning, and he installed my GSC S1 cams, head studs, changed all the fluids in the drivetrain, and motor mount. i had decided not to have him install my 02 housing, because i may be getting the FPgreen in the near future, so no need to install it twice.

the car made

324whp
327wtq

now keep in mind.. my numbers are not that high... because of high flow cat, maxed out stock injectors??, and 91 oct.

but overall i am happy with it for now

congrats, James is a good guy, I've worked with him on some other cars in the past.

Mellon... quick question for ya

when you are tuning on the dyno.... are you using the sniffer as above ? or are you using the rear O2 location ? reason i ask is, i have tried the rear sniffer, and when i start the car, the idle AFR's are lean... (which makes sense) but it deters me from doing a WOT run... does yours read right at idle ? if not... what about WOT ?

tail sniffers aren't perfect, oxygen can get in the tail pipe and skew the readings...it's best to put a new bung in at the down pipe.

normally i take the rear O2 out and use that... i was just curious as to what you end up doing. I always see pics of cars on the dyno using sniffers but my results under idle with those things are never desired.

I've heard sniffers will read AFR a little leaner than expected (-0.5 AFR on regular gas).
Regarding the oxygen which can skew the reading, I understand it can be at idle but at WOT with gas exhaust flow I would think it will be ok. Do we really experience mis-reading then?

For the OP, your dyno curve looks nice

nice numbers, james was helping me out with ecu base boost control and with the mods i had we pulled 307whp/287wtq @ 22psi. that was k&n drop in, gst boost pill, and TBE w/ hfc.

To the OP.... sorry about side tracking your post

Graph does look nice and i love the way Dynojets display data.... the mustangs are so limited in that category i think

^^^its not the biggest difference ever, but it is faster, more noticeably in the higher gears.. 4th and 5th pull way harder now.
