gkmunch, is that the SS exhaust heat shield that lancershop sells? Please let me know if you just installed it, or if the damn thing just doesn't work at all and thats how black the bumper looks from running catless. I am paranoid about turning my white bumper black, and i'm still debating on which shield i should get. I was leaning towards the SS, but if its going to work like that, im going to pass and get the ricey carbon one.....

Yep, that is the SS cover that lancershop sells. I'm running a catless system from the tanabe downpipe, with a HKS Hi-Power CBE. The car hasn't been cleaned in months, but yes, that is what happens with a catless system and a WW bumper. I wash the car pretty frequently so it usually isn't that bad. Waxing the area makes cleaning easier, so its not really a huge deal to wash. good luck!
