Got em...gonna test fit them to verify for sure if they need spacers or not. I will post pics of the findings

Hey @SoSoEVO, The X calipers are physically bigger, but somehow offer like 3mm more caliper clearance on a 8/9.
I really like these wheels, but I could never find a concrete answer to whether or not they needed spacers. Keep up updated!

Ok so did the test fit, and 18x9 +35 clear evo 8/9 calipers fine. There probably about 3-4mm of clearance closer to 3mm i'd say. Clears the oem 9 KYB's on the inside, it looks like it will be close with a wider tire sizing 265+?.
