I guess you can consider it an Evo 3 .Here is my car that some earlier model evo parts bolt right on. 2004 Volvo S40. custom gt2871r turbo kit, custom 3" turbo back, tons of bolt ons. made 293whp 246ft/lbs. its a fun interstate car. its also got modified evo 3 coilovers, cusco evo 3 h brace, and evo 3 seat brackes will go in soon with some bride seats hopefully. the 4g63 should fit right in there with minimal modifications. here i come AWD!

i started researching this 2 years ago when i read a press release from the mid 90s how volvo was going to buy mitusbishi's lancer chassis and build their s40s from it. thats when i started to test fit some parts and they all have worked so far with only a little modification to the brake line bracket on the coilovers

 

that is by far the best looking volvo i've ever seen.

thanks!! im a huge fan of jdm stuff so i try to incorporate it into the volvo. the wheel are 17" wedssport tc005s with kics project neochro lug nuts. the splitters are retrofitted carbon fiber civic splitters that i picked up from nopi and wanted to fit some. it also has 1 out of 6 carbon fiber hoods made but its painted.

As an 11yr Aftersales Parts & Accessories veteran at Volvo, this is pretty sweet!!! Can't wait to see the final outcome. I get tons of phone calls on "how can I make this awd?" And "what bigger turbo and mods can you sell me?" Gets old quick!
