For sure, I just talked to a local member, Meld, who said he has a rivet gun and what not to do the install correctly. It looks like I'll be going with the actual JDM WW instead of J's Aero, but that all depends on the shipping quote I get from DHL.

How long did the install take you all from taking the old bumper out and putting the JDM one on?

As someone mentioned earlier, the rivet gun is cheap, mine was like $17 and it is not hard to use at all. The drill just has to be good enough to drill out the old rivets. Install is not bad, I did it by myself in an afternoon, and that was really taking my time. The hardest part of the install for me was getting the licence plate bracket to fit up like I wanted. You have to modify it as the JDM bumper is shorter, not hard, just have to think it out ahead of time. There is a good How To on here. If you search for it it will give you a good idea of what it involved.

Taking the old bumper off is 3-4x as long as installing the new one. Get a head start if you don't need to drive the car before the new one arrives.

A couple hours is all you need if your are prepared ahead of time, and have read the installation threads.

Also as far as color matching it prob mostly depends on how long you have had your car and how much it sits in the sun. Mine is garage kept and not driven everyday so the color match was perfect.

Buy it from Driveline. I got mine from there and it matches absolutely perfectly (GG). The thing is, if it's not an authentic export from the factory in Japan, there is no guarantee it will match correctly. Driveline only sell the real thing - at an awesome price, with good customer service. lol, no i don't work for them, I'm just a happy customer of theirs.

Dont worry, I just got off the phone with Eric, yeah he's a badarse.

I'll be buying it from them. At this point I'm debating 2 options.

A) JDM Rear Bumper

B) Deck Mechanical CF Lip + Depo EVO IX JDM Rear taillights

I'm leaning towards B myself, but that's only becuase I don't want to deal with the install of the rear bumper. Laziness owns me.

you could always do a lip and get the jdm 7-8 rear. but then you would get alot of why did you put a 7-8 jdm bumper on a 9. it's a couple hundred dollars cheaper than the 9 i think. some like it some don't. my self i like the 9 better but the 7-8 jdm is better than the usdm bubble butt bumper.

If you're too lazy to do the rear bumper you're definitely not putting on a new lip and taillights. . . The rear bumper was much easier than I expected and the write up is great.

Ordered my Wicked White from Driveline, perfect match.

Took about 2 hours to install. Drilling out rivets and re-riveting were probably the hardest part.

You'll need a rivet gun, but mine cost $25 from Sears.

Here's a crappy picture. Haven't had a chance to take good pictures...Keeps snowing when I wash my car!!
