They didn't just strip the car and polish up a few pieces, they essentially revised/improved EVERYTHING on the car. I'd be surprised if even 10% of that car has any OEM parts left on it.

By the time this build is done the whole buschur vs ams thing will clearly be put to an end. This is quality beyond most comprehension and the dedication to prove it.
Amen.

That car is plain gorgeous. I dunno if I'd track it !

The car sports some really amazing chassis work compliments of Joe Kern @ Custom Fab. The entire car has been completely stripped, seam welded and outfitted with a custom rollcage. AP racing car jack system was also installed along with an ATL CF fuel cell and many many more high end parts. There is custom fab work in every corner of the car and now she is getting outfitted with a very long list of AMS Goodies

A rough run down of the car:
-AMS 2.3RR engine
-HKS Dry Sump oil system
-AMS GT35R
-AMS VSR Intake Manifold
-Exedy Triple carbon Clutch
-CTG Torqueline CF Driveshaft
-Brembo GT brakes
-AP air jack system
-JRZ Triple Adjustable racing suspension
-Dek adjustable front control arms
-ATL CF Fuel cell
-AIM Dash

The car will also be outfitted with a Voltex wide body kit similar to the one seen on the Cyber Evo.

Without any further ado feast your eyes on the Blue Demon!

Thank you
I would say better than sex but man this is really BETTER THAN SEX Nice work guys top notch!

Props to AMS, can't wait to see what it'll do on the track.

To the fact I need a new keyboard due to excessive drool.

What series is this car being built for?

I know a few EVO's from Utah (Comp Associates) will be hitting the GT class in World-Challenge , maybe this car as well?

Looks great.

What did you do to strip the bottom gunk? Did you have to dip it and repaint it?

Thank you again everyone. The Really is a piece of ART. Between Joe kern and AMS this car is just fantastic.

A little background on the car and owner (who wishes to remain nameless). The project started from the new found interest in Time attack. The owner really wanted to build a very accomplished car and to go out and just have a really good time. The best part about working here is when A customer really lets the guys go to work on a car. The level of skill in these doors is really something we don't get to show off too often as a good deal of the time The customer doesn't want to get too wild with it.

That is NOT the case with this car. No expense was spared and he wanted not just a fully functional Time attack car but one that was easy on the eyes. In the end the pieces that end up being the most attractive to look at are really horribly functional as well.

The car was Acid dipped and then Seam welded. That is how most of the paint and what not was taken off the car. Following that process the car is sealed and then repainted.

We will keep you posted on the car as it becomes more complete. AMS is responsible for the power end so when the car leaves it will not be totally done. From there it will go back to the owner to finish the body end of the car.

Stay tuned for more updates

That is just dead set gorgeous. My build (empty shell right now) just had another 3 months of ideas added to it...

More pics! I'm a pic *****, especially when they're this good!

Question: Is that a custom AMS dry sump system? I'd love to dry sump my race car, but don't think the budget would allow it.
