Back from CBRD: Pics and dyno vids(56K grab a snickers)
ok guys....
sorry...
this on on pump gas, 93 octane... our mustang reads low low... stock ix 225ish, stock 8 198-200..
george wanted a kit that we could expand on, and fortunately we had this kit available to us at the time, and its cast, which we like....
its a STANDARD 50 trim stage 3 turbine..... we will probably put a gt37 (aka 3076R) compressor wheel or 55 lbs/min GT wheel on it sooner or later... and dump it to atmosphere...
here is the mod list...
GSC S1's
HAFE Manifold and O2 housing, re-routed dump tube
CBRD/AMS Licp (modified)
ETS 3" FMIC
Stock upper pipe
ETS Inlet pipe
DC Sports Turboback
Fuel Pump
Hallman Pro RX
and thats about it..
a trueboost or other would allow us slightly quicker spool and better control up top with both ports... this is running single port on the gate with a 14psi spring.
Peak numbers were 386/331..... no knock.
I could be more aggressive, but we are never aggressive with clients cars.... it never sees more than a 1 knock count on the dyno or street...
ill scan the graph in a few...

Thank you all for all of your kind words. I wanted to make subtle changes to the exterior with leaving it mostly stock. And make a reliable, well modded street machine. Yes, I probably could of ran a meth kit and made a lot of power on a stock turbo, but that's not my plan. This is going to be a STRICTLY pump gas only Evo. Maybe later down the road if I plan on going with a standalone then i'll probably run some C16. But for right now, i'm just focused on keeping it 93 only.
you have put a bunch of mods in a short time my friend. I remember just a few months ago, it was stock (or going back to stock). Great power on Chads dyno.
Chad, I need more power partner. You gotta help a brother out. Seriously.

Ever since I was on APR's website I always wanted one. Funny that you bring that up. I actually ordered it off of lancershop.com website and I brought it into Chads to install it. About half way through the install, Mark realized that it was the front splitter that was designed for the Evo 8. At first I was like WTF
they sent me the wrong one. But after Mark finshed playing around with it a little, it fit fine. Only difference is, the one that's designed for the 9 sticks out further. So i'm probably one of the few ppl running around with a APR VIII splitter on a IX
Not sure if this will affect any downforce properties, but then again, I don't usually drive it over 100+ on a daily basis haha
