Guys thanks for your support. I put the rims on last night. Pictures were too dark to post.
I have some bad feedback, one, the Rota G-Force, everyone knows they're imitations. You get for what you pay for. That's obvious.
The rim was not produced right, I went ahead and put the front ones on and had to shave some of the caliper off in the back so the Rim would stop scraping.
I noticed when I put my fingers in the back of the spokes, there were about 3 spokes with claiper scrapes in the back but the rest was not touched.
That was a good sign that these rims are not CNC machined right. I understand I can order some spacers! That means I would have to roll my fron fenders too and it's just an inconvenience.

Why does this happen to me, I don't know, but I do know others with the same setup and no problems!

My rear fender rubbed a little bit on the rear left, causing my fender to bend just a hair. You can not tell though.

The thing that got to me was when I put them on (all 4) I could not put the Center caps on because the center bolt was sticking out too far.

I just said the hell with it! I'm going to just wait and see what I need to do with these wheels. I might just sell them. Get my money back somehow and wait for better quality wheels!
Sorry fellas! thanks for your support. This is very dissapointing...

Just stick with them man...you might as well because you already did all the work to make them fit. I had the same problems as you...disappointed myself, but what are you gonna do? Sell them and take a big loss on the deal? No one is going to buy used wheels that have markings on the back of them...especially on this board filled with superficial people.

Same thing happened to me, and I decided to just suck it up and deal with it. I probably could raise some hell and get my money back from subydude, but I don't think it would be worth my time. I love the wheels on my car; they look great and ride nice, (after I took them to the tire shop and had them put on a ton of wheel weights so they were balanced correctly ) so I'm just going to roll with what I have at the moment.

I also had to shave the calipers; nothing a little sandpaper and some hi-temp paint can't fix whenever I have some free time. But I agree with you; this is not something we should have to be doing, especially when there are others that had no problems. Inconsistencies are not an option in this business, and I think Rota should be well aware of this problem if they are not already.

Subydude/Zoeb...please post in this thread if you could and shed some light on this unfortunate situation that some of us have on our hands.

Thanks for your support! I understand, the thing with me is that I love perfection although it's very hard to achieve. How were you able to put on the center caps? I'm just curious as to how? IT was very noticeable that I could not pop them in!

Yeah, its noticeable because they don't fit

The hub thing sticks out way too far for the center caps to fit...they should have supplied us ones that were deeper to accept the raised hub. Oh well, I think they look better without the caps.

And I hear you about the perfection thing; sometimes you just have to suck it up...just remember, you will be the only one who knows its not perfect

I still get a wheel vibration at highway speeds even after the large amount of wheel weights that were added. I'm thinking that a road-force balancing will take care of the problem, but that's 80 bucks that I don't feel like spending at the moment.

Do you both have the gun metals?? Will they refund my 200 deposit?? These wheels look sick but I dont think I want a problem, when they should be slap ons.

He's on tein S-techs and is in need of a fender roll for clearance if these rims.

Sorry to hear your story though. Makes me kind of glad I didn't put in my deposit for the black ones like planned. I think I'll just keep saving instead and maybe pick up some works emotion xd-9s, or if I win the lottery, maybe some volks. lol. I hope everything works out for you. See you tomorrow!

Thanks Will! Yea I called Subydude! and told him of my situation and he said that they mistakenly put the wrong center caps in. He's sending me 2mm spacers as well as Dome Center Caps to fit properly.

Mooseknuckle thanks for your inputs! I notice things many people don't so that's cool!

dam Hector, sounds like hell broke loose tryin to fit those rims on...

Once you get your spacers you shouldnt have any worries though...

Are the rims hub-centric? If not youll need to get some hub-centric rings so you dont get steering wheel shake from you wheels not being completly seated...

holla at me...!

They are bro! I think I'm just going to sell them and build the head! I would have to roll my fenders possibly go with different springs.

I'll think about it!

I thought that you don't need to roll the fenders with the Rota G-Force, but I guess i was wrong. By the way, what color are the rims. They bronze to me.

I thought that myself however, I am dropped on Tein-S springs. They are GunMetallic. They look way better in person!

I just think that I should go a different route! I bought these about 5 months ago and had to wait about 4months to get them in, by then I had changed my mind! That's one thing when it comes to ordering and waiting,

You need to know if you are sure you want them! I will be getting my 2 mm spacers and Dome caps as mentioned previously but I might sell the whole package!
