Sorry if a repost, I did a quick search and didn't find anything. Race is at the end.
Did the Stig bog the FQ? Because it shoulda smoked the VXR off the line.

+1... The Stig let all of us down with that launch. I expect more from the tamed racing driver. My guess is that the big sluggish V8 needed as much of a head start as possible. I would rather power-slide in the Evo anyday. The should have had Rhys Millen driving instead of Clarkson on that one.

I think its pretty obvious the stig wasnt even trying. Even if he bogged the launch, the vxr wouldn't have put bus lengths on him while spinning all the way through first. the stig just gave him a head start to emphasize the point they were trying to make in the piece.
Right here: http://www.dieselstation.com/wallpap...Monaro-002.jpg
The Holden Monaro is the Aussie one.
The Vauxhall Monaro is the British one.
The Pontiac GTO is the American one.
Personally, I like the front end of the Holden the most, the VZ front end. =)
it's nice to see FQ 400 in the comparison test with big motors, thanks for the posting, I never knew top gear had this comparison.
Now, is there any other test between FQ400 and other cars? (besides Lambo and vxr)
