Have you ever driven or rode in a well set up turbo S2000? There are two here locally and both would destroy a supercharged S2000. The powerband in both are flat out sick.

I like the S2K Daniel. That was one of the cars on my list when I was looking for a car. The rims looks sick on that color.

Thank you Corey and Daniel for taking really good care of the Evo. I haven't had any problems yet. It's a great car...

Got any plans for the S in the future?

You're welcome lol I've got some stuff in the works. My problem right now is I can't decide whether I want to take the long hard (yet reliable) road of keeping it N/A or go for the boost. Right now I'm leaning towards keeping it N/A... Something about a SCREAMING engine over 8 grand It has a T1R exhaust now, a Berk testpipe and Hondata intake manifold gasket are sitting in the garage, and my Fujita CAI is on the way. That would just leave a header (which are ungodly expensive on s2k's for some reason???), then patiently waiting for Hondata to release an EMS, then I'm thinking a nice set of 4.57 gears if I can convince myself I don't need highway MPG haha.

see... i was misunderstood. i realize going turbo in most cases is going to be FASTER. i was talking about having a flat tq line, and having N/A like HP curve with the supercharger. when you have a honda, VTEC is key. using a supercharger is like putting your VTEC on crack. it makes it faster, and sounds even cooler.

turbo, might make more power, but it takes away from a lot of the VTEC noise, and the feel of the VTEC crossover because you feel the turbo spool not the vtec.

with a supercharger you still feel vtec and hear it big time. thats why i would go supercharger over turbo. you maintain the Honda feel, and sounds, but add a whine to the scream of your vtec. you dont quiet it with a turbo.

the gears wont make your mpg worse. in most cases it will help your MPG, because you use less throttle to get to the same speed.

espically with a 6 speed s2k, it would probably help your MPG.

im saying this with experience from putting a 4.9 final drive on a ITR.

get the gears! or just get a supercharger, then it feels like a super FD. =)
