Yes, military pays for your car delivery but policy is different for different countries. As for the Evo in Germany at the current exchange rate the Evo goes for about:

40,590.00 EUR
=
63,183.16 USD

Expensive! Which means the tuner community for evos is very very small and aftermarket stuff is poorly accessible. Lots of guys buy stuff stateside, pay the obligatory duty taxes and still come out ahead compared to Deutch aftermarket vendors. Also, the bright side to all this is that Evos are very rare and always stared at by the locals....I mean always. People ooh and aahh over it that makes it embarrasing.

Just be lucky to be owning an Evo at close to half the price that is offered in Germany.

Most of Germany is closed on Sunday. I know it's hard to believe with the way we live and work here but it's true.

Sunday was our first full day in Munich and it was kind of nice because there wasn't a ton of people and you could just kind of wander around and get your bearings with out being in anyone's way.

Here is down town Munich at about noon on a sunday:

That painted do-luck replica lip is growing on me.

Is it a painted CF lip or another material?

Where did you purchase it, if you don't mind me asking?

Nice pics. I miss Europe. The prices for cars like the evo are crazy there.

When I had my LY in 03 I saw the same one at an autoshow in Istanbul sold for $90,000. Taxes are ridiculous abroad.

The lip is made from FRP, not CF. Believe me, you should not spend the $$ for CF if you see how much damage this is going have. Anyways, I purchased this from a company in Socal but forgot their name. It wasn't that great anyways and I had someone from my town sand it down and paint it. I believe there is a thread on a quality lip on the show and shine section here.
