But to answer the post, I have seen the stock BBS wheels in gold and they looked really clean, however I think the red or green on stock wheels is going to be disappointing, especially on a stock looking car. Just my two cents.

The guy is just trying to be different, so give him some slack.

When Evodave said that he's going to to power coat his rims green every disagree, but when he was done, everyone thought that it looks hella nice.

But if I were you, I would probably paint it myself first just see what the out come would be like and see if you like it or not. It's better then $300 and then find out that it's not what you wanted.

i also beg to differ too. i dont intend to buy aftermarket rims ever again. powder coating is the way to go.

I thought of painting mine burgundy to match the valve cover, but am afraid it wont look as nice as planned.

If those are SE wheels, I'd find someone that has stock MR wheels and see if they want to trade before you go and powdercoat them. I like the SE wheels more than the stock grey MR wheels. You might help someone out and still get the MR wheels style painted.

im thinking about painting my intercooler purple and changing my body panels to a different color for each panel so then i have the power of each evo the parts came from

yea, dont ruin the finish...trade me and get the mr bbs powdercoated. I want the se wheels
