My Pikes Peak Hill Climb...

I knew that the first thing I needed to do once I arrived in Colorado Springs was to "climb" to the top of Pikes Peak.

All I have to say is that the people who race up this mountain are absolutely nuts, because it was an intimidating journey going about 20 mph...I can't even imagine going all out and putting my life on the line for the race.

Yeah you aint talking me into going all out on that road even when it's closed down & there is safety crew at the ready. I'd love to take a nice drive on though. Nice pics by the way.

I LOVE Colorado Springs. My sister went to USAFA. I've been up Pikes Peak quite a few times. It's an amazing drive, and experience all together.

Yea it was a really cool experience, only thing was that I forgot to account for the change in temperature from the elevation and I was the only one at the summit wearing shorts and a t-shirt
