Blacked Out - Do Work ! ! !
Looks really nice. Every time I see these all blackened interiors it makes me want to do it that much more lol. I take it you guys didn't do any clear coats on the plastic, just the duplicolor paint right?
It did for a couple of days, nothing overbaring anyways and thats in FL driving around with the ac on it wasnt even that bad. Each day it gets less and less noticable only initially I smell it for a couple of seconds when I hoop in the car after its been sitting outside of work all day, I figure another week and I wont even notice.
Honestly it wasnt that bad time wise. 20 minutes to take it out (thanks EEIX) and I helped EEIX with some stuff but for the most part he hooked it up since he had done it before. Then 20 minutes to put it back together roughly.
I would say if you start in the morning on a night sunny day to help bake the paint correclty with 3-4 coats on the plastic pieces and spraying the headliner until its done then you could easily do it over the course of a half a day.
