Man, sorry I didn't see the part about you not wanting posts until you were done. I tried to delete my other post but I guess a mod has to. If any mod is interested, you can go ahead and remove my other post higher in this thread,
If anybody does remove it, I think the pedal looks good.

Those are going to be slicker than snot on a glass door knob though the moment it rains... if you guys can figure out a way to put some rubber insets in them, that would certainly help... or those of us who purchase (or at least want to) will have to come up with something inventive... as that will be near impossible when it is wet.

It should be just fine.

I'm not sure what factory kit you are referring too... I have a Lancer... so I'm not familiar with the Evo accessories. But your feet do slip at times on the stock rubber/plastic pedals (especially if you are a poor soul like me and have leather bottomed dress shoes for work)
Slippage is a common problem on all sport aluminum pedal kits. And the dead pedal I wouldn't worry about at all. I was looking at the full set and thinking of what it could be like racing auto-x in the rain with those.
They are absolutely kick *** work. So I don't mean to make it look like I'm being critical. They are awesome, and I'm glad someone has done something.
And my slippage concern also comes from having driven a car with Momo aluminum pedals... and they are quite slick when you first get in, even with the rubber inserts.
Later!
