Hey guys im looking to make my EVO VIII a little more aggressive looking without getting a big gaudy looking body kit. I was thinking about the EVO IX front end and it looks expensive from a dealer so I was looking at vividracing.com at the APR evo IX style front end with integrated lip. It looks like a pretty good price and it says its a direct bolt on. Do you guys think I should go ahead with this? I just wanna make sure whatever I get fits really good.

 

just get a do-luck lip or do-luck replica lip for the VIII.

Do you guys think a DAMD front bumper with stock sideskirts with cf splitters on them to keep the lines flowing from the front bumper which i think will hang lower will give me this look if i also add a JDM rear bumper?

 

thought you werent looking for big and gaudy? I say get a do luck or do luck style lip, some nice rims and call it a day.

 

Im not lol I just wasnt sure if that would look alright. Some of the kits look ricey some dont. I just want a more aggressive look without lookin ricey is all. I guess thats kinda what I meant

 

UUUUUHHHHHHHHHHH the VIII is more aggressive than the IX hands down IMO...don't you guys agree??
If you said you wanted to go with a different or more mild look, I think the thread would have made more sense. I don't think you can get more aggressive or bold than a modified factory VIII

VIII's look really good with a front lip, that's the way I would go.

 

Ok so between keeping my stock VIII end and getting a lip or getting a cf splitter what do you guys think? I was kinda feeling the splitter.

i have an apr bumper in my garage. i dont like it. i went with a mild/ aggressive look with my evo. for some it's too much for others not enough. check it out it's in my sig. good luck with what you get.
