Removal of the swirls basically remove a very thin layer of paint, but it's good to do it once in a while. It's almost impossible to prevent swirls.
Clean evo always looks nice!

is that an ETS 3.5" IC?
does the removal of front crash beam helps air flow and handling?

It looks like you have a clear bra installed too.

Definetly worth it's weight in gold.

GG has a nice sparkle to it when clean.

No problem when it's only been done once in 44 months!

Is that an ETS 3.5" IC? Does the removal of front crash beam helps air flow and handling?
Yes, ETS 3.5" IC. The crash beam was till there when the FMIC was installed. I removed the crash beam later when getting ready for a recent import drag event. I'm trying to get weight down without doing anything drastic. I still need to do the rear beam, though.

It looks like you have a clear bra installed too. Definitely worth it's weight in gold.
Yes, and it covers the whole front end as well as the side mirrors. It definitely is invaluable, for I have no knicks on the front end where the bra is, but just above the line, I have many chips that are completely white due to how thin the paint is. Next time, I'll do the whole hood probably.

How long did the whole detail take?

Your detailer did a great job! Flawless paint now. That must have taken at least 3 hours in claying alone.

About 4 hours. I just gave him the car and drove his car to my work site a few miles away. He called me not long after lunch, and I snagged it. It literally does look brand new other than the rock chips and cone damage (autox), but you can't even see that stuff in pics. It has rained a few times since the double wax job, and the water just beads up and falls off. It's like having Rain-X on every square inch.

I'll probably have Dan re-do it every 6-12 months from now on.
