My opinion is the general concenous, but I do like the idea of the VIII with a lip, but my opinion the IX or C-West looks better.

 

Once you change that front bumper it will look much much much better lol

 

Too bad you aren't near chicago, cause you could bring that front bumper by and we could watch it get smashed in our drum crusher!

 

Yea funny thing is i have alot of eclipse guys that want to buy it. So when i take it off i am selling to one of them

 

Im glad you are ditching that front bumper, its horrible. Your car will like you better if you ditch it too.

I'm thinking about picking up some stock 9 wheels that were powder coated this sunday. i can get a good deal on them. Does any one have pics of a VIII with them on it?? I could not find any pics. Do u guys think they would look better than my stock VIII wheels??? I am thinking they would look great but need to see them on a silver VIII

 

If you dig through the older threads (pre 2006) you should see a lot of the cars back then with the VII tails. Not as popular a mod now in the post JDM MR tail world .

I think the 7 tails are the cleanest. Thats just my opinion. If u look at a silver 9 from the back u can get an idea of what they'll look like on your car. Hope this helps.

03v8slayer, swap the front as planned .. and go with painted heads and tails if you're going with the 'time attack' stock IXs. Painting isn't all that hard, it just takes a bit of time and patience. Just my 2cents. Best of luck!

 

Does anyone ****ing read a word that is posted on this forum? The very top line, the second sentence he writes, he says he is replacing the bumper with the stocker and CF lip. Everyone telling the OP that his front bumper needs to be changed: diaf!

 

Yea i new that was going to happen hardly anyone ever reads they just look at the pics. But its cool i hate that bumper. And i did have the hole kit on i already changed out the side skirts and rear bumper. The stock 9 wheels are just powder coated black no red lip on them. The guy wants 600 for them what do u guys think?? Would they look good on the car i think they would seeing i am going with the silver and black theme. Thinking about painting the heads on sunday it seems easy just a long task.

 

Thank god you are getting rid of that front bumper.. That thing is hideous. What prompted the purchase in the first place?

 

Where i am there use to be a lot evos. So i wanted to make mine look different. And i went to a local shop to look at kits on evos. And i saw one i liked but once i saw it on it looked way better in the pic. That is why it looks like crap can't wait to get the last pice off the front bumper.
