No crome for me, the car is clean though -

 

No way! These babies are mine!

They are actually black chrome. And they still weigh in around 18lbs. I can understand that they are not everyones cup of tea though. I just wanted to be different than the usual gunmetal or black, silver is too boring on apex silver, and couldnt commit to bronze.

Thanks for the compliments guys. More power in the form of a FP Green or CBRD BBK coming this spring!!!

My new engine look. Ignore some of those posts up there^. I decided not to do the Megans...lol

 

first shot is the best, pull some detail out of the blown out sky and that's a poster! good job.

 

New stance. Dropped on H&R coilovers now. Also added the Whiteline roll center kit.





These KDWs are about shot and I am glad. Planning to get some Dunlop Star Specs next summer and may go a hair lower at that point. Also plan to do a BBK-B build over the winter. So the pretty stuff is done and now it is time to make more than that MD 327whp.

 

I like the wheels, and I need to get something like that for my defi guages...

 

You need to find the thread where the guy painted his brownbos to project mu blue...looked pretty good on the GG. Bet it would look even better on the SIlver...

Your's are certainly not brown, but it still looked good.

 

Yeah when these get trashed I may do something crazy like that. Although I think gloss black Brembos would look hot with my SBC rims. But this is my second set of calipers (as you know) so gonna let them red and hope they don't get trashed like the first set.

Thinking of selling my ARC Gradiant plug cover to show off and fund my new SpoolinUp COP. It is 10/10 brand new condition. PM me if anyone is looking for one of these rare items....and now that ARC is no more they will only get more rare.

 

Wow it's been a long time since I've been on here.

So I'm thinking after all these years going with a new look. The black chrome on my Advans is really flaking off now despite keeping them clean and never seen snow. I also need new tires. And I'm almost 36 now so I can let the wing go.

Thoughts on this plan?

1. Powder the rims gloss black
2. Get some Nitto RT555 G2s to replace my shot Dunlop star specs (ZIIs are salty and I haven't autocrossed in years so I don't need all that)
3. White Nitto logos on the tires
4. Red lug nuts to match the Brembos and offset the gloss black rims
5. 35% tint
6. New trunk lid from a regular lancer and a Rexpeed type D carbon spoiler
